Double signing negotiated on sought-after industrial units.

Leading property consultants Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has secured two new tenants at FallBank Industrial Estate in Barnsley on behalf of MBH Investments Limited.

These new signings will see Wakefield based construction equipment supplier Filtermech Plant Sales Ltd (FPS), and food and drink distributor G Point 7, take up two units totalling over 35,000 sq. ft.

Located less than 1 mile from J37 off the M1, and just 2.5 miles from Barnsley Town Centre, the estate, which is located near Dodworth railway station, provides excellent transport links throughout the region.

CPP acted as joint agents with Gent Visick on the deals.

There is one remaining 40,000 sq. ft unit available immediately at the site which boasts an excellent location and comprehensive external areas.

In addition, there may also be another 20,000 sq. ft unit coming back to the market at the estate in the coming months.

Ed Norris Partner at CPP commented: “We’re delighted to have secured significant tenants from contrasting sectors thus helping to diversify the tenant mix.

“A prime location so close to the M1, this site is ideal for distribution across the country.”

Jacob Adler from MBH Investments Ltd added: “We are proud to have worked with CPP offering occupation and letting advice to secure such fantastic agreements.”

Paul Mack from Gent Visick said: “Demand is showing that more and more businesses are looking for units like these one across the region, it’s very positive to see so much interest in the industrials market, reflecting the state of both our regional, national and international market.”
